One of the world’s Nicest places to visit, Jasper National Park Provides amazing dark sky viewing opportunities, residing over anywhere between class 3 to 1 bortle sky. Don’t be fooled though, just because it’s extremely dark, the night sky will light up the area allowing you to view the beautiful mountains while enjoying one of Canada’s nicest darkest skies. Aurora borealis are also available to be seen all year round but peak times are September to mid-May. As always we recommend checking out BnB’s and campsites to stay! Jasper has been deemed a dark sky preserve in 2011 by the Royal Astronomical Society in Canada. For places to visit in Jasper or tours read below

As always while visiting anywhere we 100% recommend exploring on you’re own to find unique areas you may find more appealing, I personally like to do this as it allows me to get away from the crowds, do this safely and you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful experience.
