<image:title>Ontario - Muskoka - Muskoka is one of the nicest places to see the fall colors in Ontario for those not wanting to drive too far away. From beautiful rock formations to lake views Muskoka’s got it all. Muskoka is a perfect place for those who love woodland scenery as well and if you’re planning on visiting the lakes we 100% recommend bringing a boat to explore the lakes fully. some of them have some nice cliffside views and they're mainly only seeable on the boat. We also recommend staying overnight either at a cottage or camping to experience Muskoka fully! Please look at the list below for places to visit in Muskoka.</image:title>

<image:title>Ontario - Agawa Bay - At Agawa bay, you can swim in the clear fresh water of Lake Superior or canoe on the main lake (we don’t recommend going far; we recommended to stay close to shore or the rivers connecting safely!) There are many trails you can walk at Lake Superior Provincial Park and many scenic lookouts on the drive-by. If able, we recommend visiting in the fall for the beautiful-colored fall leaves as well.</image:title>

<image:title>Ontario - Agawa Bay - Not many places in Ontario are going to be as nice as Agawa Bay. A 9-hour drive from Toronto, it’s a perfect destination if you’re looking to do a road trip. The topography of the area makes it seem like a place out of Ontario, but that’s the theme when you get to Lake Superior as a whole. I try to travel there at least once a year on a one to two-week road trip.</image:title>

<image:title>Ontario - Scenic Cave Adventure and the Blue Mountains - For those looking for more of a day trip idea, we recommend the Scenic Cave Adventure at Blue Mountains. 2 hours away from Toronto it provides excellent views into the Georgian Bay. The suspension bridge is open winter and summer offering all-year viewing, there are beautiful beaches and a nice harbor to visit. We also recommend hiking the top of the Blue Mountains for the scenic views into the Georgian bay and the mountain biking in the area is very fun as well! For those wanting to stay overnight, I recommend staying at Living water inn in Collingwood or any Inn at the blue mountains village</image:title>

<image:title>Ontario - North Frontenac Dark Sky Preserve - North Frontenac Dark Sky Preserve is located around 3 hours away from Toronto or about 2 hours if you’re coming from Ottawa. You’ll have class 2 Bortle skies, allowing you to see immense details of our night sky. There is a telescope pad that’s leveled making setting up tripods for your cameras and telescope extremely easy. When heading out to this dark sky preserve we highly recommend getting there by daytime, for safety reasons and having time to set up.</image:title>

<image:caption>Places we recommend viewing in the Tobermory and bruce peninsula area include Sunset park, bruce peninsula national park, and the peninsula observation deck. There is also a group in the area called bayside astronomy, a great way to get into astronomy and stargazing as a whole. We also recommend exploring the area for your own areas to stargaze, which will always be a rewarding experience! Photo by: @esme_batten</image:caption>

<image:title>Quebec - Mount Pinacle - If you’re looking for a good day trip not too far from Montreal, look no further than Mount Pinnacle. Mount Pinnacle is just under 2 hours from Montreal. Provides beautiful views whether you decide to stay near the lake or if you decide to hike up to get the view of the cliffside. Canoeing is also available for those interested. There’s also a surrounding hill range which provides a really beautiful view. Mount Pinnacle is perfect for that on a road trip to the states through Vermont since the mountain is really close to the border. There are also Bnbs in the area, which we recommend you visit to add a whole lot more to the experience of the area.</image:title>

<image:title>Vancouver - Wells Gray Provincial Park - Wells Gray Provincial Park is probably on my top ten list of places to visit. It's truly a unique and beautiful sight to see. The Provincial Park offers camping, including both standard campgrounds and backcountry options depending on what you'd like to do. There are also opportunities for horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and wonderful lookouts. The surrounding mountains in the area give the park a canyon-like feel with rivers running through it. The park has various waterfalls to look at, with each of them providing a unique feature to admire. One of the most popular waterfalls in the park is Helmcken Falls, which stands over 141 meters high. I also recommend checking out Dawson Falls, which looks like a miniature version of Niagara Falls from my home-province in Ontario, but with fewer crowds of course! Scenic driving through the park makes it a joy to get to. If you feel that camping is not for you, don't worry! There are B&Bs nearby that allow you to stay close by and visit the park without needing to camp.</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Banff National Park - Who doesn’t love the terrain of a canyon, the rugged terrain mixed in with all the moving rivers, it’s a place most people will feel relaxed just visiting. Johnston Canyon is no exception one of the most unique Canyons I have ever seen, I find it extremely relaxing to visit and just admire the area. The area has two main trails upper falls and lower falls both of which are easy trails making it family-friendly to get to. The lower falls trail is a 1-hour round trip and the upper falls area is a 2-hour round trip!</image:title>

Camping in the area is a must or staying. The sunsets are one of a kind, paddling is a joy for everyone, and if visiting in the winter you can walk on the lakes or skate and catch amazing photos and memorable days, of course, make sure conditions are safe to do so!</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Banff National Park - Another Clear Blue lake surrounding by some of the most amazing mountains in the world. Getting to Moriane lake is a littlebit tricky for people not wanting to take a shuttle bus as the main road is closed for personal vehicles. There is a beautiful lodge to stay at while very costly it will be worth it for those wanting to get the experience overnight of the area. Canoeing the lake is also an extremely delightful experience and hiking around to the rock pile or the tower of babel is a must!</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Banff National Park - One of the most iconic lakes in the world, Lake Louise is a joy to just experience. Again the unique Canadian Rockies terrain just makes it all the better. Hiking or biking is a must when visiting lake Louise, explore a little bit to get away from the crowds. Canoeing around the lake is also a must, get different views of the surrounding area and just enjoy the lake as a whole. There is also a surplus of wild animals to look at and in the winder skiing is available for a beautiful look of the area at the ski big3!</image:title>

We recommend visiting the area with the cruise to get a full experience of the lake but the lake can be reached by car or by hiking if one wanted to. There are also many backcountry campsites for those interested. If you want to see spirit island the cruise is your best bet for getting to see it, but canoes are also a viable option for those who enjoy a nice canoe trip!</image:caption>

<image:title>Alberta - Jasper National Park - If you are trying to find a world class route look no further then the Icefields Parkway, taking you around the beautiful rugged rockies terrain Jasper has to offer. The Icefields Parkway gives you an amazing view of the rockies and Columbia Glaciers, I 100% recommend this for those willing to drive and it spans through Jasper and Banff so if you are going to Jasper to Banff or vice versa you should look into going through this as it’ll make your trip feel so much shorter then it was!</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Jasper National Park - Who doesn’t love a beautiful waterfall, the feeling of the mist in the air, and the relaxing sound of the water pouring down it’s an adventure for all. There are campsites and hostels near the falls but we recommend finding an area in Jasper you like to stay at and driving to the falls from there, we recommend checking out Athabasca Pass Lookout and the Geraldine Lakes trailhead for more unique views of the area. Please note that you will be in the wild when visiting here, go with a group or make sure to have bear spray on you for any unlikely event! Safety must come first.</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Jasper National Park - Another Wonderful Falls in Jasper is Sunwapta falls. Just like Athabasca Falls they both provide extremely unique views. Some may argue its just falls but just being around one is relaxing in itself. With amazing forestry surrounding it, it’ll provide a wonderful experience for anyone interested.</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Jasper National Park - Mount Edith Cavell, is one of Jaspers's most iconic Mountains there are plenty of different trails one can take to get different and unique views of the mountain, One of those trails is Edith Cavell Meadows Trail, it’s a moderate loop trail around 8.2 Km in length and you can easily bike it or snowshoe it as well. This trail provides excellent views closer to the glaciers and mountains.</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Jasper National Park - Medicine Lake is also must visit for those planning on going to Jasper. Providing you with jaw-dropping Canadian Rockies views, Medicine Lake is one of the most accessible lakes for those trying to reach it, the road wraps around the entire lake allowing you to view the lake from either end without canoeing, there are also various hiking trails one can expect to find!</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Jasper National Park - The Athabasca Glacier is one of the few glaciers that form the Columbia icefield and the Columbia icefield of course is arguably one of the easiest glaciers to get to for your everyday person! We recommend viewing the glacier either through Columbia Icefield Skywalk or the Toe of the Athabasca Glacier Trailhead, there are also snow coach tours for the glacier which we of course recommend for those interested. There are campgrounds in the area as well but these are on a first come first serve basis!</image:title>

<image:title>Alberta - Drumheller Hoodoos - Containing one of Canada’s most interesting badlands Drumheller Hoodoos is a delight for all. formed long before humans, indigenous lore claims the Hoodoos were petrified giants who hurl stones at intruders to keep the land safe. The Hoodoos are located 1 hour 45 away from Calgary and 3 hours away from Edmonton, It’s perfect for a day trip, but for those wanting to stay overnight there are nearby RV resorts and campgrounds, more information can be found Here. Walk the Hoodoos trail to get a full experience of the site and enjoy the wonderful hoodoos and unique badlands surrounding it. <image:title>Alberta - Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump - Smash Head Buffalo Jump is a truly curious place in Alberta. A beautiful CliffSide view with a rich history from the Indigenous Peoples of the area. The site is currently run by Indigenous people so we recommend going to check the area out and supporting local businesses! In terms of accommodations, there is a nearby town with motels you can visit. For a quick Google Maps display, click Here. There are also RV campgrounds for those on a road trip in that area!
