Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory

Bruce Peninsula is a 4 hour drive from toronto and offers a variety of things to do. For this page we’ll be focusing on the stargazing portion.

Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory are situated in a Bortle class 2 area which means you’ll be getting to almost no light pollution.

Places we recommend viewing in the Tobermory and bruce peninsula area include Sunset park, bruce peninsula national park, and the peninsula observation deck.

There is also a group in the area called bayside astronomy, a great way to get into astronomy and stargazing as a whole. We also recommend exploring the area for your own areas to stargaze, which will always be a rewarding experience!
