Drumheller Hoodoos
Containing one of Canada’s most interesting badlands Drumheller Hoodoos is a delight for all. formed long before humans, indigenous lore claims the Hoodoos were petrified giants who hurl stones at intruders to keep the land safe. The Hoodoos are located 1 hour 45 away from Calgary and 3 hours away from Edmonton, It’s perfect for a day trip, but for those wanting to stay overnight there are nearby RV resorts and campgrounds, more information can be found Here. Walk the Hoodoos trail to get a full experience of the site and enjoy the wonderful hoodoos and unique badlands surrounding it. The Hoodoos also can be used as a stargazing area ( we wont be including it in our stargazing section for now) but please keep that in mind.
