Banff National Park
Jasper and Banff are two of Canada's most popular and breathtaking national parks, and while some may argue that they are similar, we believe this is a silly argument. Just as the Alps and the American Rockies offer different experiences, each park has its unique terrain, cultural history, vegetation, and overall atmosphere. If you appreciate mountainous regions, you'll find plenty to appreciate in both parks. We highly recommend visiting both to get a complete experience of the Canadian Rockies. The parks offer numerous options for accommodation, including camping and hotels. For campsite reservations, click Here.
Lake Louise
One of the most iconic lakes in the world, Lake Louise is a joy to just experience. Again the unique Canadian Rockies terrain just makes it all the better. Hiking or biking is a must when visiting lake Louise, explore a little bit to get away from the crowds. Canoeing around the lake is also a must, get different views of the surrounding area and just enjoy the lake as a whole. There is also a surplus of wild animals to look at and in the winder skiing is available for a beautiful look of the area at the ski big3!
Johnston Canyon
Who doesn’t love the terrain of a canyon, the rugged terrain mixed in with all the moving rivers, it’s a place most people will feel relaxed just visiting. Johnston Canyon is no exception one of the most unique Canyons I have ever seen, I find it extremely relaxing to visit and just admire the area. The area has two main trails upper falls and lower falls both of which are easy trails making it family-friendly to get to. The lower falls trail is a 1-hour round trip and the upper falls area is a 2-hour round trip!
Vermillion Lakes
A chain of lakes that provide a wonderful mix of forestry and mountainous terrain, lies the vermillion lakes. Camping in the area is a must or staying. The sunsets are one of a kind, paddling is a joy for everyone, and if visiting in the winter you can walk on the lakes or skate and catch amazing photos and memorable days, of course, make sure conditions are safe to do so!
Moraine Lake
Another Clear Blue lake surrounding by some of the most amazing mountains in the world. Getting to Moriane lake is a littlebit tricky for people not wanting to take a shuttle bus as the main road is closed for personal vehicles. There is a beautiful lodge to stay at while very costly it will be worth it for those wanting to get the experience overnight of the area. Canoeing the lake is also an extremely delightful experience and hiking around to the rock pile or the tower of babel is a must!
